Testimonials…

“Julia patiently guided us through all the steps involved and it was a very meaningful moment when we soldered the flat strips of gold into actual rings. We were very pleased with the results, and enjoyed the day enormously! It was fantastic to be able to exchange rings on our wedding day that we had made for each other, rather than something mass-produced and bought in a High Street shop.”

“Julia was so knowledgeable and helpful.  As we were marrying at a heritage railway centre she took our inspiration on board, helping us incorporate patterns and textures of steam engines and railways to create such interesting rings. We hammered, punched, and cut shapes out of three toning metals, forming them into our wonderful rings. Making the rings was such a personal and inspiring experience, and resulted in the most unique demonstration of our commitment to each other. We have also had so many compliments on them. Thank you Julia!”

Simon & Heather Ramsden-Fletcher

“My husband Dom & I made our wedding rings with Julia’s informative & creative support nearly 5 years ago. We’ve just returned to resize my wedding ring as it’s, erm, a little snug a few years on. Julia was as we remembered – an encouraging teacher whilst guiding us gently in getting it right. We were reminded of what a magical, unique & truly personal experience it was to fashion our wedding rings for one another the first time around. In a World where wedding preparation can feel like being on a conveyor belt of things you apparently ‘need’: the making of our rings was a beautiful & intimate process. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Julia and her workshops to anyone.”
